POMFRET, Conn. (WTNH) -- State Police arrested one person after a double-crash in Pomfret Saturday.

Troopers say a car crashed into a pole, then a second car crashed into the first car on Route 169 between Fox Hill Road and Woodstock Road.

One person involved has been arrested for DUI, officials say.

Eversource is on scene working on the downed pole and wires and the roadway is currently closed.
