SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The annual Greek festival 'Glendi' concluded its final day in Springfield, offering attendees a weekend filled with homemade Greek food and traditional music.

Organized by the Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the festival attracted over 8,000 visitors, providing a vibrant celebration of Greek culture.

"We've been coming for 20 years, I just get a feeling of family and support," said Kath Rinealdi of Longmeadow.

"I've been involved with Glendi for 40 years; it's been a tradition," said volunteer Charlie Alvamos.

"We have the best traditional homemade food," said Agawam City Councilor George Bitzas.
