TROUTVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - Bee Still Farm -- the name is a nod to more than just the bees that produce the honey for the products sold inside the shop in Troutville. It points to a Bible verse in Psalms, “Be still and know that I am God.”

Owner Jennifer Webb and her family needed that promise to get through an unimaginable hard season in their lives.

“We actually lost a son in 2017 and that was a time in our lives where we needed to be still, and we needed to focus on God,” she said.

Little did Jennifer know bees would help in the healing process. She bought her first hives a month before her son passed away. As Jennifer cared for her bees and processed the grief, years later after being still, it was time to make a move.
