For the Cleeland family, Saturday was a homecoming of sorts at Husky Stadium.

Playing for UC Davis, brothers Roice and Treynor Cleeland returned to the stadium where their father, Cam Cleeland, played for the University of Washington. He was a first-team All-Pac-10 tight end in 1997 before playing eight seasons in the NFL.

The Cleeland brothers both hail from Vancouver and attended Jesuit High School in Portland. Each appeared in Saturday’s game, which Washington won 70-10 against the Aggies of the Big Sky Conference.

Roice Cleeland, a 6-foot-3, 300-pound redshirt freshman, subbed in on the offensive line. He initially signed with Washington after earning Oregon 6A all-state honors at center in 2022.
