WEST HAVEN, Conn. — Two kids who were riding a school bus said they were injured from a crash in West Haven on Tuesday morning, according to West Haven police.

Police said a vehicle crashed into the back of a school bus at the intersection of Spring Street and Front Avenue around 7 a.m. The bus was traveling east on Spring Street and turned left onto Front Avenue when a vehicle, traveling west on Spring Street, crashed into the back of the bus.

One child on the bus was taken to an area hospital, claiming to have minor injuries, police said. Another child said they had minor injuries, according to police.

The vehicle driver declined medical attention at the scene, police said.

This crash remains under investigation.
