HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Police Department is investigating a serious hit-and-run that occurred in Kakaako Monday night.
The incident happened at around 11:40 p.m. on Kawaihao Street.
According to HPD, an unknown vehicle was traveling westbound on Kawaihao Street near the intersection of Kamani Street, when it stuck a 60-year-old male pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.
EMS transported the victim to hospital in serious condition.
Police said the unknown vehicle continued traveling westbound on Kawaihao Street without stopping to render aid or provide information.
At this time, officers said it is unknown if speed, alcohol, or drugs are factors in this collision.
