BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) — Work began Tuesday on a project to improve the shoulder area along Highway 1153 in Butler County.

Crews are focusing on the stretch between Highways 106 and 626. Drivers should expect delays, with flaggers and traffic control devices in place, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said.

Officials urge caution and patience while crews work near moving traffic.

The project is expected to take about two weeks to finish.
