GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - Officials are investigating the theft of heavy equipment from a construction site near Canal Road and Landon Road in Gulfport.

According to Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers, a skid steer and a bulldozer were stolen over the weekend of August 29.

Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers released photos showing the type of equipment that was stolen: a 2020 Kubota Skid Steer and a 2020 Caterpillar D5G Dozer, which has a noticeable dent on the back left side of the cab.

Officials believe someone may have seen the equipment being loaded.
