LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- 8 News Now chief investigative reporter George Knapp was among the witnesses who testified at a congressional committee hearing on Tuesday in an effort to get the government to release more information about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, UAPs, which are commonly called UFOs.

The bipartisan committee is a task force seeking to get disclosure from the government about incidents involving UAPs.

"The government has something and they need to turn it over to us," Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett (R) said.

During the hearing, a never-before-seen video was released by Rep. Eric Burleson, Missouri (R), showing what he said was an MQ-9 drone tracking of an object off the coast of Yemen in October 2024.
