ASHEVILLE - The 2025 N.C. Mountain State Fair is in full swing with spinning rides, challenging midway games, and daring entertainers showing off their talents and skills.

Over the opening weekend, food vendors put their best plates and cups, competing for state fair ribbon awards. The multi-division contest submissions ranged from deep-fried comfort foods to refreshing and seasonal drinks to sauces and spices bursting with flavor.
