GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Usually, gymnastics and drag racing don’t mix, but in Brianna Taylor’s case, she excels at both.
Dating back seven years, Taylor first began gymnastics at age three. A few years later, she picked up her dad’s sport, drag racing, and now at age 10, drives the car 80 MPH in the junior circuit.
A few months ago, her mother, Kellie, entered her in a national competition for Youth Athlete of the Year (by Sports Illustrated), and since she has advanced through round after round on her way to the Quarterfinals.
Anyone can vote for her now, up until September 18th, where both free and paid votes are available. The proceeds from paid votes go to The V Foundation and Why Not Us Foundation.
