ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Three students are in police custody after a fight caused a Cobb County high school to lock down on Tuesday.

Pebblebrook High School in Mableton “briefly went into a Code Red lockdown due to an altercation and a reported weapon on campus,” a Cobb County School District spokesperson said.

All the students are safe. The school’s gun and bomb-sniffing dogs were not on campus at the time of the incident, the spokesperson said.

“As always, we encourage parents and students to report any safety concerns to the District’s Tipline via call, text, or email,” said the spokesperson.

The students involved have not been identified. Atlanta News First is working to learn more about the incident.
