LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM)-- A local township is seeking the public's input on the future of its July fireworks show.

Lower Paxton Township released a survey following a Board of Supervisors meeting this week, asking the public for their input on the future of its July fireworks show.

The survey asked the public whether the annual operational expenses were acceptable and whether the public believed these events had a potential safety risk. This has been an ongoing issue throughout Midstate communities as safety risks continue to occur at public events.

According to the survey, the annual fireworks display has an operational expense of $22,500 to $25,000.
