HERMITAGE The holiday season is here at Kraynak’s in Hermitage, more than two months before Thanksgiving.

Santa’s Christmasland, the annual walk-through display, opens its doors to visitors at 9 a.m. Wednesday. The 300-foot-long display features decorated artificial trees, blinking lights, a Nativity scene, and animated characters, including Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The display is free to enter and is open to all ages.

The Hermitage retail store, located at 3433 E. State St., houses the Christmasland display, along with holiday decorations, toys, gifts, and plants. The business also includes a lawn and garden center and six nurseries.

Store officials estimate that about 3,000 people visit Christmasland on weekends in November and December. The store's busiest period is from September th
