A Range Rover left the road and crashed through a row of bushes and trees in Acklam. Emergency services were called to A1044 Low Lane shortly after 9am on Tuesday, September 9.

Cleveland Police has since confirmed a 52-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving. She has been bailed further enquiries.

Witnesses say the car drove over the roundabout before coming to a stop in the shrubbery near Jack Simon Way. A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Officers were called to a single-vehicle collision on the roundabout on Low Lane, Acklam , shortly after 9am on Tuesday, September 9. Thankfully, no one was injured.

"A 52-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and she was bailed pending further enquiries."
