POSEY COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — Another southern Indiana county is now under a burn ban.

Posey County was placed under a burn ban on Wednesday until further notice.

On Tuesday, a burn ban was also issued in Spencer County.

Burn ban issued in Spencer County due to dry conditions

Local leaders issued the burn bans due to ongoing dry conditions in the area.
