EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A drug dealing investigation in Evansville led to the search of a home on East Blackford Avenue and the seizure of more than a pound of meth.
In May, detectives say they began investigating Patrick Rhodes for dealing meth throughout the Evansville area.
According to authorities, Rhodes had a criminal history and was already classified as a serious violent felon.
Over the course of several months, detectives say they conducted controlled purchases of meth from Rhodes using a confidential informant and marked money.
Tuesday, detectives served a search warrant at Rhodes' home on East Blackford Avenue, where Rhodes was taken into custody.
