CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland plans to close some eastbound lanes of its Memorial Shoreway starting Friday morning to repair the water main break.

A city spokesperson said eastbound lanes from West 45th to West 28th streets will be shut down starting around 10 a.m. Friday, after rush hour traffic.

If all goes well, the roadway will be reopened to traffic before the Monday morning commute.

This does not impact the Memorial Shoreway’s westbound lanes.

The closure follows a break on a 36″ water main, which started Aug. 28.
