GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A man accused in a fatal stabbing in Green Bay in 2024 pleaded no contest to felony murder on Wednesday.

Aaron Walton, 33, along with 40-year-old Joseph Poore, were charged with First-Degree Intentional Homicide and Armed Robbery for the fatal stabbing of 33-year-old Robert Marshall in June of 2024. The criminal complaint says that the stabbing was a drug-related robbery.

At a plea hearing on Wednesday, Walton pleaded no contest to a count of Felony Murder – Armed Robbery. A count of Armed Robbery was read in but dismissed.

“The court will adjudicate Aaron Walton guilty of count 1 in the amended information of felony murder with the predicate offense of attempted armed robbery,” said Judge John Zakowski during the hearing.
