HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — Parking for courthouse employees and those visiting the businesses in downtown Hollidaysburg could be a challenge starting Thursday.

The Blair County Commissioners circulated an email to employees Tuesday announcing that they would be closing the county parking garage indefinitely effective Wednesday night at 5 p.m.

Commissioners said the closure is necessary for safety due to the garage's need for repairs from deterioration from the use of salt during the winter months. The county had already closed the top deck of the garage several months ago.
