CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WTAJ) -- High school students across Pennsylvania are being invited to an annual "Innovations Challenge" to propose AI-based solutions for enhancing safety in work zones.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is encouraging students in grades 9-12 to develop concepts using artificial intelligence to improve safety for both work crews and drivers for this year's challenge. Participants must consider cost-benefit analysis, statewide deployment, and public outreach in their proposals.
