Hugh “The Mad Bavarian” Bernreuter has come close to perfection before.

There was the Oktoberfest bratwurst that was perfectly grilled, but the sauerkraut was a bit too ripe … and so was the Bavarian. There was the time he caught a home-run ball at a Tigers game, only to have a lady named Karen take it away.
