The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a public health alert Wednesday for Bianco & Sons beef tips sold in Massachusetts due to undeclared allergens and misbranding.

The affected products are 1-pound vacuum-packed packages of “Sweet Heat Sirloin Beef Tips” produced on September 2, 2025, containing undeclared sesame and wheat. The packages, marked with establishment number “EST. 4033” inside the USDA inspection mark, display a “USE OR FREEZE BY: 10/01/2025” date.

The labeling issue was discovered when a retailer found packages with correct front labels but incorrect back labels meant for “Garlic and Ginger Sirloin Beef Tips.” The products were distributed exclusively to Roche Bros. Supermarkets locations in Massachusetts.
