Brisbane comedian Christian Hull has done what plenty of locals wouldn’t dare, swimming in a glass-bottomed infinity pool hanging 27 storeys above the street.

Mr Hull, who lives in Newstead, visited the apartment complex on September 7 and put out a TikTok video saying that he wanted to swim in the pool.

He said he had been curious about the pool ever since residents first moved in 2023.

“I live nearby, and that cantilevered pool has been beckoning me since the building opened,” he told news.com.au.

“It’s 27 storeys high and I just thought ‘I need to swim in it and see what it’s like,” Hull said. He joked that if the glass cracked, the swimmer inside would go “over the edge and down to the street”.
