LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - K-9s helped officers track down a suspect during a manhunt Thursday in Lebanon.

The search started after officers with the Lebanon Police Department (LPD) responded to a call in the Creekside Village Neighborhood, according to a post shared by the department Thursday.

As they started investigating, “they spotted the male suspect hiding in... the tree line” near where a “possible domestic assault” had been reported. The man ran away into a field nearby, police said.

“With the assistance of our K9 Unit and Emergency Services Unit, officers were able to locate and apprehend him shortly after,” said the LPD post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Not long ago, B-Shift officers responded to a report of a possible domestic assault in the Creekside Village neighborhood.
