Three slain police were front of mind as hundreds of officers hit the streets on motorcycles to honour colleagues killed in the line of duty.
Hundreds more remain searching for a gunman wanted over the deaths of two of those police in northeast Victoria, with investigators still certain Dezi Freeman remains in the area.
