PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- An early morning fire Friday causes $60,000 to a South Peoria home.
According to the Peoria Fire Department, crews were sent to the 1600 block of West Adrian G. Hinton Avenue which is about a block away from Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., Drive where they found a one-story home fully engulfed in flames.
A search of the home found no one inside. An investigator was called to the home. As of Friday, the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
Damage was estimated at $60,000. There were no injuries to either civilians or firefighters.
