"My teacher told me that I needed to learn English. So I would, like, I don't know English because I've been working on it, on Spanish too much, and I haven't practiced English," said Jorge Luna, a student at Highlands Elementary in Cedar Hill.

Students in Camilla Head's class said they were not only not where they should be, but they were also embarrassed by it.
"Sometimes the grouping helps, like, if I pull you to the table, then most likely, you will talk to me, then speaking in front of the whole group," Head said.
