The Pioneers routed their second consecutive opponent, beating George Fox 38-10 Saturday in Portland.
Quarterback Dashiell Weaver, a transfer from Fresno State, had another great game, going 19 of 25 for 268 yards and four touchdowns. Jordan Lahusky opened the game with an 80-yard touchdown scamper, followed on the next possession by Weaver’s touchdown pass to Julius Walker.
Lahusky had 97 yards rushing on nine carries and receiver Desmon Holton had five catches for 104 yards and a score.
George Fox quarterback JJ Leman went 18 of 34 for 202 yards and a TD. The Pioneers held George Fox (0-2, 0-1 NWC) of Newberg to 77 yards rushing.
