LUBBOCK, Texas — The early-season hole keeps getting deeper for Oregon State football.

A 45-14 thrashing on the road at Texas Tech — which included a two and a half-hour weather delay — left the Beavers (0-3) scrambling to get on their flight home in time late Saturday night.

The disappointing thing was, I thought we didn’t play with much effort or willingness to be physical. That’s my fault. I’ve allowed it to happen. Got to get it fixed. That was the whole night in general. I could have 100 examples, but going through them isn’t going to do any good.
