Linebacker West Weeks left the third quarter of LSU’s game against Florida on Saturday with an apparent leg injury.

Weeks, a senior starter, landed awkwardly while chasing Florida quarterback DJ Lagway out of bounds. Trainers attended to him on the Florida sideline before he walked gingerly off the field on his own power and into the injury tent.

By the start of the fourth quarter, Weeks was spotted standing on the sideline with a towel over his head. Teammates started consoling him, and an LSU spokesperson said that he was doubtful to return to the game with a calf strain.
