CARDWELL, Mo. (WSIL) -- Three teenagers were injured after an ATV crash in Dunklin County on Saturday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) stated the crash happened on September 13, at 3:58 p.m. along County Road 622, roughly one mile south of Cardwell.

State police said a 16-year-old from Cardwell was driving a 2013 Artic Cat going east when the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned. Two other passengers were reportedly on the vehicle at the time of the crash, including a 16-year-old female from Brooklyn, Arkansas, and a 15-year-old from Blythville, Arkansas.

MSHP stated both female passengers were seriously injured and flown to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis. The driver was reported with minor injuries and taken to Arkansas Methodist in Paragould, Arkansas.
