A Coventry-based contractor has fallen into administration. Vidi Construction has been in business for almost a decade.

But now administrators from insolvency company Horsfields have been appointed by the High Court in Manchester, reports the business desk. It employed around 40 staff and, according to its website, had '200 skilled craftsmen and experts under our roof'.

Specialists in residential new-build and conversion schemes mainly across the Midlands and South of England, among the firm's work includes projects in Birmingham, Redditch and Nottingham. The company, which lists its address to Cashs Business Centre in Widdrington Road, reported turnover of £40m in its latest accounts to 31 March 2023.
