An upstate New York man made the purchase of a lifetime, winning the top prize in the New York Lottery’s $3,000,000 Grande scratch-off game, lottery officials announced.

Andrew Dudash of Rochester claimed the $3 million prize on Sept. 9 and opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment totaling $1,334,550, after required withholdings, according to officials.

The winning ticket was purchased at Wegmans, located at 1955 Empire Blvd. in Webster.

Webster is located in Monroe County, just east of Rochester.

As of this writing, all top prizes on the $3,000,000 Grande scratch-off game have been claimed. Valid lower-tier prizes may be claimed until May 27, 2026. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
