The Evergreen school board on Monday unanimously approved the district’s contract agreement with classified staff , as well as a revised academic calendar.

Evergreen Public Schools’ last day of school for the year will be June 18 — a week later than June 11 as originally scheduled — to make up missed days.

The district also added makeup days throughout the school year, including the day before Thanksgiving, which is now an early-release day. The teachers union agreed to move bargaining days to the end of the school year, Evergreen’s Chief Operations Officer Jenae Gomes said in the meeting.
