(WHTM) — The Cincinnati Bengals signed one of Penn State's all-time passing leaders this morning.
According to Adam Schefter on X, the Packers signed former Penn State QB Sean Clifford after starting QB Joe Burrow sustained a toe injury in Week 2.
ESPN says Burrow will be sidelined for a minimum of three months after sustaining a serious toe injury that will require surgery in the Bengals' Week 2 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Clifford finished his collegiate career as Penn State's all-time leader in wins as a starting quarterback (32), completion percentage (.614), completions (833), passing yards (10,661), total yards (11,734), passing touchdowns (86), and pass attempts (1,356).
