COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three Ohio State buildings that were evacuated after a suspicious package was discovered are now being reopened, an emergency alert from the university said.
Caldwell Lab 120 on Neil Avenue, Bolz Hall and the Journalism Building on West 18th Avenue were evacuated just before 1 p.m., according to The Ohio State University Office of Emergency Management.
The Ohio State University Police Department and Columbus Division of Fire responded and determined around 1:45 p.m. that the device that was found was not a threat. All buildings are now reopened.
It’s unclear at this time what authorities found.
