OAK GROVE, Ky. (WSMV) - A Kentucky man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened and spit on Oak Grove police officers, according to WKDZ Radio.

WKDZ reports the Oak Grove Police Department responded to the Quality Inn for reports of a man causing a disturbance on Tuesday morning.

When officers arrived, they found 26-year-old Eric Watson allegedly causing a disturbance while under the influence of a substance.

According to WKDZ, Watson tried to walk away from the officers, and when they tried to arrest him, he resisted.

During the arrest, Watson allegedly spit in an officer’s face, kicked the cruiser door and continuously yelled and made threats, WKDZ said.
