A man and a woman injured were left injured a house fire in Tile Hill. CoventryLive reported that six fire engines responded to 999 calls to report the blaze last night (September 17).
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) has now confirmed its medics treated two people at the scene - a man and a woman. Both had suffered injuries in the fire at a house in Hawthorne Lane.
A WMAS spokesperson said the pair, who have not been identified, were not seriously injured. But they were both taken to the the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
"We were called to a house fire on Hawthorne Lane in Tile Hill at 10.34pm and sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene," the WMAS spokespersons said.
