PORTLAND, Ore. — Rap icon Ice Cube is set to bring four decades of hip-hop to Portland this month, performing at the Moda Center on Sept. 22 as part of his “Truth to Power” tour.
The show marks Cube’s return to the Rose City, a city he says has stood by him since the earliest days of his career.
“Thinking about Portland, I just think about the fans always showing up for me from day one — ever since the ’80s,” Cube told KGW in an interview ahead of the concert. “They’ve always really come through.”
