SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Fall gets underway on Monday, September 22 at 2:19 PM, officially marking the moment the sun’s direct rays are over the equator.

In addition to daylight being equal in the Northern Hemisphere, this also is the start of the season that brings the most rapid change to our temperatures.

Looking into the next few weeks, the closing ten days of September average a morning low temperature between 65° and 68° and average highs in the mid-80s. Our forecast next week has mornings in the upper-60s and afternoon high temperature in the mid-80s.
