LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louder Than Life is bringing heavy metal to the Bluegrass state.
The four-day rock and metal festival is returning to the Kentucky Exposition Center Thursday through Sunday.
“I love music," said festivalgoer Randell Woodward. "It is the way to be free."
About 240,000 people are expected to attend the Louder Than Life throughout the weekend.
A festival spokesperson said that number includes festivalgoers from all 50 states, and 50 countries, drawn to Louisville for a loaded lineup.
"We plan our yearly trips around this together as best friends and its worth every penny," said Sarah Murphey, a festivalgoer attending with Brianna Pimentel Miller. They said they are most excited to see Rob Zombie, Lorna Shore and and Bring In The Horizon.
