Some of us are starting off this morning with some spotty raindrops, especially in southwestern Wisconsin. This is from a front approaching from the west, which stalls out as it moves closer, leading to a rainier trend over the next few days. This front isn't very strong, so rain chances will remain isolated and will be very on and off. We'll likely dry up for mid-morning, but could see a few more raindrops in the early afternoon. We'll likely be dry during the evening as well, but showers build back in for the late evening and last into the early hours of Saturday. This is likely our best chance for some more widespread rainfall, and we could hear a couple of rumbles of thunder as well.
