FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Conway man wanted in the shooting death of a 3-year-old boy in Florence County was arrested overnight, according to online jail records.
Joseph Waterman Jr., 34, of Conway, is charged with murder, seven counts of attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is being held in the Florence County Detention Center.
He is the second person charged with murder in Saturday night's shooting that killed Antonio Burgess Jr. of Hemingway. It happened in the 900 block of Midway Highway in the Johnsonville area. Kenneth Washington Jr. of Hemingway was arrested and booked into the Florence County jail on Tuesday.
Deputies responded at about 9:25 p.m. to the Johnsonville Rescue Squad in the 200 block of East Broad Street for a gunshot victim
