DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- One man was arrested on Thursday after allegedly tasing an 83-year-old and then stealing his gun, the Darlington County Sheriff's Office said.

Malcom Dukes is charged with armed robbery, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, pointing and presenting a weapon at a person, and third-degree assault and battery.

According to an arrest warrant, on Sept. 5, Dukes was at a home on Mayford Road in the Hartsville area when he tased the 83-year-old man, stole his firearm, pointed it at the victim, and told him that if he called for help he would kill him.

Dukes then pushed an 82-year-old woman as she attempted to break up the altercation, warrants show. He then left the scene with the victim's firearm.
