A petition to remove Ward 2 City Director Ken Richardson from his position on the Little Rock Board of Directors has been filed with the city clerk’s office, according to an email obtained by the Arkansas Times .

Richardson hasn’t been seen at a city board meeting since May 2024, but has continued to collect paychecks from the city. When we last reported on Richardson in May, we broke the news that he’d collected nearly $30,000 since last appearing at a board meeting , and has presumably continued to collect a salary from the city since then.

According to an email sent by City Attorney Tom Carpenter to Mayor Frank Scott Jr. and the city board of directors, Pam Noble filed a petition Wednesday to remove Richardson, citing his absence from board meetings.
