MULLENS, WV (WVNS) - Residents in the Mullens area of Wyoming County have said contaminated and discolored water poses a threat to living conditions and basic health.

Locals said basic tasks from cooking and cleaning to bathing and doing laundry have become a challenge. State leaders have said fundamental needs of residents should be a priority for everyone. "The needs of people - we have to take care of their basic needs. That seems to be a problem these days - just taking care of basic needs," Senator Rollan Roberts told 59News.
