HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) - The Bluff Park playground will be getting an upgrade. The city of Hoover wants to add more equipment to the existing playground in the neighborhood. For feedback, the Parks and Recreation department turned to the experts: the neighborhood kids.

The current playground at Bluff Park has a handful of slides and a small swingset, all in a beige color with green accents. But the children around Bluff Park want to see vibrant changes.

“I want to see more brightness, because we’re all kids and we just love color," said fourth grader Adeline Respinto.

"Green," said fourth grader LouLou Mazur.

"Light blue," added fourth grader Adalyn Moulin.

"Definitely pink,” Respinto said.
