A hayride crash at Milburn Orchards, near Elkton, Maryland, sent one man to Christiana Hospital and injured four others.
The hayride was carrying around 12 to 15 passengers at around 11 a.m. Sept. 20 at the time of the accident, the cause of which is under investigation, according to the Cecil County Sheriff's Office.
The driver, a 25-year-old man, was sent to the hospital in an ambulance. The four others, including a 2-year-old, had "superficial" injuries, the sheriff's office said.
Milburn Orchards is a popular autumnal destination in the region and was recently named one of the 10 best apple orchards in the country by USA TODAY 10BEST Readers' Choice Awards. Millburn Orchards did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
