BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) -- Crews are responding to a diver in distress at Bushy Park Boat Landing on Saturday afternoon.

Berkeley County officials said the saltwater side of the landing is closed while emergency teams respond to the incident.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office received a call about a commercial diver in distress around noon, who then went underwater and hasn't resurfaced. Dive scenes are on scene searching for the diver.

The US Coast Guard is leading the investigation. News 2 has reached out to the Coast Guard for further details.
